A great day at the Hub with a visit from the Tailem Bend Auto Club

ree

The Geranium Community Hub came alive on Sunday, 26 October, as the Tailem Bend Auto Club rolled into town on their annual Poker Run. Around 100 members made the journey from Tailem Bend through Meningie and Coonalpyn before arriving in Geranium for a well-earned lunch.

The Hub committee put on a delicious hamburger lunch for the visitors, while Café 1965 was open for milkshakes, coffees, and desserts. The Geranium Op Shop also opened its doors, adding to the buzz and giving guests a chance to browse while enjoying some country hospitality.

It was a hive of activity and a great success with the grounds filled with classic cars, friendly faces, and plenty of community spirit.

A big thank you goes to all the volunteers who helped cater and make the day run smoothly. Special thanks to Stephen Pfeiffer for volunteering his time to ensure the Hub grounds looked immaculate and the perfect backdrop for the car display.

The Geranium Community Hub committee welcomes visitors and community groups to make use of the facilities. If your club or group would like to visit, please get in touch, we’d love to host you!
